Cynical Lib Dem Campaign Tactics Exposed

Labour Leader of Lambeth Council, Cllr Steve Reed, has details of how the Lib Dems are planning to blame Labour for the savage cuts being inflicted by their coalition government. A leaked campaign briefing tells local Lib Dems to sow division in their communities by presenting Labour as the party of the 'have nots' and to set traps and ambushes for Labour to confuse the electorate:

I think it important to verify such claims in the first instance and then make a judgement.

The writer should also recognise that it is perfectly legitimate for people to stay and fight rather than change parties.

Since the LibDems are supposed to be a spent force, rapidily losing their supporters, Labour should have no trouble refuting these scandulous claims. Frankly I am surprised they have anyone left to make them or could it be I have been reading the wrong paper!!

They might be a "spent force" but they can still do damage......

The real point, which you dodge, is the utterly monstrous mendacity of their attempt to blame LABOUR for these cuts.

How typically LieDem :-)
