I thought Peter Hain had not been elected to the Shadow Cabinet but up he pops with his orange glow tan. Must be something to do with the sun's rays in Wales I guess.

Well, there are five positions which are surplus to those elected and given that there were many Welsh candidates, but none elected, it was an obvious solution
Personally I think that Ed Miliband or whoever is leader should be able to choose his own team

Alan Johnson as shadow chancellor?.. really?
I think we've just conceded the deficit argument there and then, and with it the whole economic argument at the next election.

Oh come now! Surely a former postal worker is ideal for the Treasury, the post office finances being in similar disarray to those of the country.
Seriously, Alan Johnson has to be a safer pair of hands on the major portfolio than the verbal accident prone Balls.

How do you argue against Tory cuts when it was the Labour party in power for 13 years that got us in this mess in the 1st place!
Its aright keep blaming the Tory bankers, but who are the ones selling their houses at big profits?

Not a bad selection but the real job of actually developing policies and a fiscal argument is very
overdue.
The NHS which we all pride simply
isn't delivering the service we expect. The gap between private and state care is growing. This needs to be addressed or face more privatisation.
Labour are losing the argument on cutting the deficit. This needs to be addressed.
