Another Labour initiative. Everyone gets a criminal record who has anything to do with children.

I assume that's going to include Gordon Brown given his addiction to anti-depressants.

I'm sure Luke would want to extend democracy to Brown's medical records as required in the US.

What an idiotic statement...

I would have agreed with the above statement if it was not for the wording of the second sentence which displays a disgraceful level of prejudice and discrimination towards people sufferring from mental illness...

To suggest - if it is true... which it may be - that Gordon Brown is taking anti-depressants are you suggesting that taking such medication should result in a criminal record...?

That people who take medication for metal illness and have contact... and or involvement with children should have a criminal check...?

For your information so called "Sane people" are more likely to be struck by lightening than be attcked by someone with a mental illness...

Such statements are Way Beyond Belief...

Please think before opening your mouth...

Luke
The result for the Drayton ward in Daventry District has just be declared as follows:

Con 314
Lab 158
LD 138
BNP 133
Ind 129
Soc 55

It is excellent news that the BNP has been pushed into 4th place in this ward as until this election they have managed to secure 2nd place... behind the Tories with Labour coming 3rd...

It is good news that Labour have managed to regain 2nd place again...

The Lib Dem vote is rather worrying though... they seem to be making more headway in this ward...

James T ... you're such a vanilla logical positivist.

What do you want me to do? Speak in symbolic logic.

Let's cut to the very quick.

The PM is off his trolly on anti-depressants. The aspergic one has got his finger on the nuclear button.

When the call comes in the middle of the night do you want this mad bastard to do anything other than stay asleep?

Comment from Akehurst. "Let's look on the positive side. Fings ain't as bad as they look. He can still tie his own shoelaces."

You poor poor individual...

It is interesting that you talk about logic... well many people may be inclined to believe that the comment you made above just makes you sound venomous...

Someone who no-one can reason with...

In discriminating against those suffering from mental illness you have my symapthy...

You really do...

Don't make this personal. It's not venomous ... well, not like that fuckin' bag of shite called Damian McBride who the Mad One choose to employ.

Let's recall what McBride's job was: Shitting on every cunt that came up on Brown's radar.

McBride was a cunt. So is Brown. He's built the whole deal on scamming other people. That's why he's so fucked up that he can't produce a single sentence without a dishonest blotch on his face.

Cherie said, did she not: "Liar". She knew what the score was with this shithead. We can only piece it together from the bizarre kaleidoscope of inappropriate behaviours that the shithead presents.

He's just a complete cunt. He's gotta go.

Note to anonymous - 9:56 PM, September 11, 2009.

The English language is such a rich and varied resource with lots of words and phrases to choose from, particularly when one wants to insult politicians (whether they be incompetent or not).

Please try to be a bit more selective when insulting Gordon Brown, your postings are painfully banal.

And please avoid calling our Prime Minister names using the Anglo-Saxon term for female genitalia (which is useful). Gordon Brown isn't!

Note to James T

Passing off a well-worn cliche as wit isn't anything of the sort.

Indeed, such attempted bon mots say spades about the originator or should one say the anal aphorist.

New deal with it. The prime minister doesn't do human. He appears rather like Charlton Heston in the last frames of El Cid propped up with a concoction of chemicals designed to keep him passable/vaguely human.

At what stage, do you propose that it will become politically expedient/imperatives/redemptive to put that complete useless cunt out of his misery.

I am being charitable. Not venomous.

Yet more evidence of things getting a lot worse for Labour. The party really needs to start communicating and delivering a clear message of what Labour stands for.

The big debate at the moment is public spending but people need to be educated on what cutting front line services will mean to them. I believe that slashing public expenditure will do very little to reduce the tax bill for the average earner...probably just a few pounds a year. Frontline services are essential and provide work for millions of people and massive cuts will only starve high street spending and increase the benefit bill.

Labour need to concentrate on reducing waste and sliming management in the public sector but if anything they should be working to deliver more. In France they spend far more and the facilities available are world class....they don't appear to be hung up about how much they spend.

They also need to stop measuring and applying targets. This whole process is costing billions and delivering nothing. Councils, Hospitals, Doctors, Schools and Housing associations deliver targets ....why?

Labour should announce immediately an end to trident and the ID scheme and move the billions saved to the NHS. Should even consider pulling out of Afghanistan.

There is an urgent need for better railways in this country. Not just high speed lines but also local lines need to be improved. Faster, cheaper and more frequent trains would boost local economies and support working people.

The banks need to be heavily taxed to prevent them paying the huge bonuses that got us into this mess. Why is the British tax payer being forced to pay twice?

There is an argument for higher taxation but only if you can deliver more. Deliver less and raise taxes is suicide and this is currently the conservative policy. Where is the debate from Labour?

Thanks for bring some sense to this Blog Post...

I totally agree with you...

The Labour Party needs to "Regain" its Bottle"... to have the courage and steely determination to make the case for sustained Public Spending... with a restructuring to make management in Public Sector organisations much leaner and more effective...

The Financial Services Industry needs to be made aware also... of its responsibilities to the wider Society in the UK... not just to their narrow "Sectional" interests...

Allied to this the Labour Government must use the growth of the environmental "Green Industries" as part of a wider strategy to diversify the "Industrial Makeup" of the UK Economy... and thereby eliminate the unhealthy dependence of the Country on Financial Services both in Industry... as a source of activity and income generation... and on wider UK Society... in terms of the contraction of vital Public Services which it creates and then exacerbates...
