George Galloway is a good politician and should not have been expelled fro the LP as he was an asset and very charismatic!

I'll try my best to remember this story I was told. I think it was quite funny.

Correct me if you know I'm wrong!

A member of London Young Labour was thinking of jacking because of his opposition to the war in Iraq.

He went to see Galloway to ask what he should do, and was surprised when Galloway told him not to quit. He told him "not to make the same mistakes I made" and to "stay in the party and change it from within".

Surprised but satisfied with this advice from somebody who seemed to be such a huge critic of the party he decided to stay.

Shortly after, the bloke is campaigning in the Leicester by-election (I can't remember which one). Walking down the road with a bag of leaflets, wearing a red rosette he sees the Respect battle bus coming down the street.

Stood on top, microphone in hand, George Galloway spots the fella and shouts "there's one - Baby killer!!!"

Don't know if it's true, but it made me laugh my tits off when I was told this.

Maybe someone reading this was the Labour member in question. Tell us what happened...I hope your still in the party.

George Galloway - what a wanker!

I largely agree with what you say - but then, since when did the extreme revolutionary left have either appeal or answers? Most people who are to the left of new Labour are, nonetheless, certainly not affiliated to the SWP!

Personally, I find them too intense - almost like a religion. I also feel sure that if Oona King had been more 'electoralist' in her own constituency, Respect would never have taken it.

Secret Santa

Doe's it take a Tosser to know another one?

If George Galloway was not expelled from NLP the seat in Bethnal Green would be Labour!

If the stupid right wingnuts in the NLP had listened to Galloway there would not have been all this blood shed!

Tony Blair and George Bush should stand trial for war crimes!

The SWP should abandon its Trotsky idealism and get on board with updated Stalinist policies to eradicate all right wingnuts and form a re-education policy-then the SWP would be ok!

Some called Gordon Brown and His pathetic cabinet Stalinists. I was so angry and annoyed that these people had the audacity to compare a bunch of useless bureaucrats as Stalinist's. Uncle Joe and his cabinet were real men, and people would shake when they entered, but Brown and his Clowns people laugh. The moment Islington CLP become Stalinist I promise I will join the LP!

Its time the SWP joined the NLP and fought within for a Socialist Party accountable to to the working classes of this Nation!Perhaps then NLP would win more seats?
