When was Lord Goldsmith at the height of his powers? On deciding,clearly after MUCH deliberation, that it was legal to go to war with Iraq? (i.e. the correct answer)?

Certain odd choices.
Why bring back Byers? He was an absolute disaster at both T&I and Transport. at both departments he fundamentally misread how to play the City viz the Rover and Railtrack fiascos. The decisions taken in both cases led to millions of pounds of tax payers money being wasted.
Anonymous - a bit cowardly and have you heard of collective responsibility? Yes by all means vote against someone in selection, but once they are democratically selected in accordance with our procedures then you should support them. If you were a candidate, would you want your members actively not supporting you?

Bit unfair on Hain- still a good minister (if not inspiring as DL candidate). And nothing at all for Harman. In hindsight- "oops" ????
